My goal as a therapist is to create a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you are able to express yourself and further develop self-compassion. This will lead you to feel more present at work, with family and friends, and things you feel passionate about in life.
My approach to therapy is that when we are able to feel more at peace with ourselves, we find greater joy in life. The journey to feeling peaceful and satisfied is not always smooth; it can feel so personal that we may avoid talking about the “bumps” with our loved ones. Speaking with someone who is objective and private can be so useful. It can allow you to view this “bumps” in a in a curious way
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, I have collaborated with clients who have dealt with work stressors, every day stressors, and/or burnout and wanted to find more satisfaction in life. I have also worked with people who wanted to make changes but did not know where to begin.
I am also skilled in working with people who have struggled with substances in the past and are looking to continue in recovery, as well as with family and friends of those using substances.
